   Executive Report by Mr. Rey Calooy
·         Purpose of the existence of FILCEB
To organize the Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SME) with the thrust for the advancement of SME.
·         Credit and Loan for Small and Medium Entrepreneurs.
·         Creation of Agreement with the Government; particularly with no less than Pres. Noynoy Aquino.  Small and medium entrepreneurs will be granted credits and loans by the government through chattel.
·         Lending to fellow FILCEB members
·         FILCEB spearheaded and gained the support of Councilor Alvin DIzon the passing of the ordinance bill for market vendors.  The title of the ordinance bill is Suspension of Pass Through Fee.
·         Participation with Halad sa Kapamilya
·         Established the SME Call Center
·         Fund Raising for the FILCEB

·         Renovation of the PPVR Center and the negotiation of its use for FILCEB purposes.

  1.   Creation of Different Committee:  Facilitated by Mr. Cesar Suan
·         It had been agreed by the Chairman (Rey Calooy) and Mr. Suan that three committees will be created however due to the diverse needs of the organization, certain committees had been created based on the needs.  The following are:

·         It had been agreed that per committee would have 3 members and 1 chairman.  Individuals who were interested of helping a certain committee volunteered and decided for their chairman.

  1. First Metro Investment Corp. (FMIC) Presentation
·         FMIC is a subsidiary company of Metrobank.  Investment is on equity and bonds and mixed.
·         Purpose of the presentation is to introduce the company and give a brief back ground
·         FILCEB member had been invited to the First Metro Investment forum on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Marco Polo Hotel.




  1. Election of Officers & BOD/Committee Chairmanship
·         It had bee agreed and decided by the body that the new set of FILCEB Officers and Board of Directors will also govern the committee chairmanship.
·         Election of officers was presided by Mr. Rey Calooy, the current chairman of FILCEB. 
·         During the meeting, the function of the Chairman and the President had been differentiated but the body agreed to use the terminology Chairman/vice-chairman for BOD and President/vice-president for the FILCEB Officers.  
·         It had been established as well that the BOD will be the policy makers and the officers of FILCEB will function for the working committees.
·         The Elected members of the BOD and the officers for the FILCEB are the following:

  1. Other Matters:

·         Campaign for Membership
      Campaign for the membership had been raised up.  The Membership Committee will have to come up with a campaign for membership of the organization.

·         Frequency of the meeting for the BOD and FILCEB Officers as well as the committees.  Mr. Cesar Suan suggested for the FILCEB Officers to have a meeting twice a month

·         It had been decided by the body that the meeting of the FILCEB Officers will be every last Saturday of the month at 5:00pm.

·         Penalties will be implemented to achieve perfect attendance every meeting.
-          Penalty will begin at 5:30pm.
-          A penalty of P100.xx will be fined for tardiness.
-          Absence without a valid excuse will have a penalty of P200.xx
-          There should be at least a 24 hour notice prior to the  absence.

·         Monthly Dues will be strictly implemented.
·         Report by Mr. Roland Genobia. 
-          Financial Report
-          The said report coincided w/ his report to the previous Auditor.
-          Consistency of the payment of dues had been tackled.
-          Mr. Genobia advised every member to ask for a receipt for every payment.
-          The use of logbook for every payment  received had been suggested.

·         Fund Raising Sugested by Mr. Chairman
A raffle draw with a car as the grand prize

·         The official hiring of the FILCEB Admin Officer
-          Ms. Gertrude Rescar was officially hired for the position.
-          Monthly allowance is P1,500.xx
-          She will hold office in PPVR, amenities will be provided for her to be functional.
-          FILCEB members are allowed to ask favors from Ms. Rescar to do errands for a fee.

·         The welcoming of KAZ, Glass and Aluminum Supply to FILCEB.
-          New members are Raleigh Kent Donaldo and Artchie Donaldo.
-          Recruited by Mr. Roland Genobia.

  1. MASTER MINDING
This is a goal setting exercise, mental focusing and behavioral modification-enhancement through group action and inter-personal assistance of FILCEB SME members.

The program runs for three (3) months or 90 days with fixed schedules such as weekly team meetings and twice a month meetings of core group members.

The program starts with ten (10) members. Then after 3 months or 90 days, the 10 breaks out and recruits another 10 members.

Members are to follow rules. Failure to do so, a participant is evicted.

Goals setting for example: increase sales, start a new business, etc.

Members shall be fixed on the schedule of meetings. Change or drop all other schedules except the Mind Minding schedule. A participant must do everything to ensure that he/she and the ten members will be able to complete the program. In Singapore the cost of participating the program is Php 100,000.00

At  FILCEB, payment shall be through tithing, 10 percent from increase of income or profit from the Graduates. Rey Calooy and Cesar Suan will act as facilitators with the support of all participants

As of the moment there are 9  participants who indicated their interest to join the Mind Minding Program

  1. PLDT SME Business Matching
PLDT SME provides data for business matching to FILCEB members as PLDT has a large data of business establishments.

This will provide a network of resources, markets, and business opportunities for members.

  1. TINDAHAN NI PINOY
Members are invited to participate in the Tindahan ni Pinoy display of products and services after the closing on January 22, 2012, of the FILCEB DTI TRADE FAIR AT SM
  1. PLANNING SESSION
January 25, 2012 , 1-5 pm at PPVR office

This is FILCEB SME members planning and preparation for the cy 2012 to be facilitated by Rey Calooy

Kits will be given to members containing T-shirts, stickers
  1. BOOK ON ENTREPRENUERSHIP
A Book on Entrepreneurship is about to be launched. This will be in the dialect and incorporates experiences, wisdom, and struggles of SME owners.

It intends to provide the FILCEB SME members and potential members a glimpse of the hardship and successes of small and micro-entrepreneurs.

Its vision and goals relates to the passion to help and share knowledge to the less privileged in community and be part in the effort to alleviate poverty.

The photo will be released in local and national newspapers. Members are requested to join the photo op to be in appropriate attire. Jeffrey Comillas will do the picture taking for a professional and quality result.

3. Participation in the DTI-DOT project: Tindahan ni Pinoy

This is an invitation to members of FILCEB SME to display and sell products at the DTI-DOT project Tindahan ni Pinoy in Mandaue City, where tourist buses are expected to drop by. The cost  of rental per meter is Php 800.00/ per/mo/sqm. The available sizes of areas are   3, 6, 9,12 sq.m.

Discussions on the price add-ons indicate commissions to coordinators who are expected to guide tourists to the TINDAHAN NI PINOY
